Founder of CBi, Cathy Huang, and Managing Partner Rudy Wimmer had the honor to attend the celebration of the 135th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America with the US Consul General. On June 30th guests and friends of the Consulate gathered at the JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai to celebrate the occasion with drinks and live music.

In her speech, Consul General Beatrice Camp said she regretted to say that this would be her last Independence Day in Shanghai. She expressed her gratitude for the support and cooperation she has received during her past three years in China.

In her message she also mentioned how pleased she was of the growing number of American students coming to study in China. At CBi we are currently enjoying the inspiration and creativity that our two American interns (studying at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and also Davidson College in North Carolina) bring to the team during their work experience with us this summer.
