CBi Delivers Speech on Sustainability
CBi was invited by Raffles Design Institute Shanghai to deliver a stimulating speech at the Visual Communications Student Final Year Presentations on the evening of March 25th at Kaiba's Dingxi Lu location in Shanghai. The audience remained engaged as presentations ranged from both Multimedia Design and Graphic Design.
The focus of the speech was one of CBi's most recent case studies, "The Value of Going Green: Evaluating the Effects Eco-design has on Consumer Perspective of Value". The motivation behind the case study was to discover how Chinese consumers reacted to successful eco-designs and what features of eco-design were crucial in their success. Design Director from CBi discussed how eco-designs became more attractive to consumers when linked with value-added features and the importance of three key characteristics of eco-design: style, health, and future cost savings.
CBi's speech, together with the many student presentations, provided an inspiring and rousing evening surrounding Sustainability. "We are glad to give students an occasion to discuss and share our project's theme surrounding Sustainability. " CBi's Design Director said.
Raffles Design Institute, Shanghai, is a collaboration between Raffles Design Institute, Singapore and Dong Hua University, China. The School is located within the campus of Dong Hua University, which is one of the most prestigious top-ranked universities in China.
