CBi's series of innovation workshops open to the public got off to a flying start on August 13 with an introduction of "Five Elements" approach to innovation management.

Those in attendance at the three-and-a-half-hour workshop hailed from a cross-section of business and design, including SAIC MOTO, Visteon, PPG, Merck, GN Resound and some branding companies.

Feedback from the 12 attendees to the sell-out workshop was overwhelmingly positive regarding the subject matter, its application and the delivery by workshop trainer Debbie Delaney.

"Again, many thanks for your hospitality, and I hope to maintain good communication and business relationship with CBI."

"The work shop was a good eye-opener regarding my problem solving methodology, and I wish I could spend more time learning from Debbie."

"There is no doubt that Debbie's words were stimulating to everyone. And I still remember the great taste of her cookies."

The workshop encouraged participants to interact with each other and Debbie to understand the underlying philosophy of CBi's Five Elements theory and then, through discussion, how it is applicable to them, their organizations and the wider business and design spheres. Brainstorming, games, group discussions and action planning through the session all helped to cement understanding and the ability to immediately apply what was learned in the workshop.

CBi’s next topic of public workshop is ”understanding my creative style”, and will be held at CBi's offices on November 12nd.
