On 12 September 2013, the final degree assessment was held in L’École de design Nantes Atlantique, a French school for higher education imparting knowledge in the field of design. Cathy Huang, president of CBi China Bridge, was invited to attend and assess the work done by students, along with fifteen other jurors.

Every year the school invites a jury to evaluate the designs prepared by students. This year, the jury consisted of 2 professional designers, an entrepreneur and an institutional representative from outside the school. This process serves to maintain objectivity and is intended to offer the students an outside perspective.

With a broad range of experience in design and business behind her, Cathy, who has judged many renowned design awards, shared her views with the audience, “I feel so glad to attend the assessment and was amazed by the quality of designs developed by students. I hope they will rise to be the new faces of design industry in the future. ”
