Cathy Huang was invited to WIDD

June 29, 2008.President of CBI, Cathy Huang was invited to speak for WIDD event held in "Shanghai 1933 Old Factory".

WIDD (World Industrial Design Day) was named by ICSID (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design) for providing a platform to the professional and amateur designers to display their creative ideas and communicate with each other. Shanghai WIDD event was organized by SIM DESIGN and included two parts: students design competition and guests' speeches.

Cathy Huang gave a speech on the name of "Between Design and Industry" which discussed the relationship between design and industry from the angle of design management, and described a great foresight that design and business should combine together. At the same time, Cathy Huang also recommended the "2008 China's Most Successful Designs Award "organized by Fortune China Magazine and CBI, and invited all the guests to participate in the competition.
