The Global Service Jam
It is a collaborative gathering of people interested in learning and using a Service Design based approach to creativity and problem solving.
Every March, those interested in service design and user experience design gather to participate in this global event. People from all walks of life—designers, experts and scholars, businessmen, freelancers, customers, and even grandparents—dive into workshops, bringing their own ideas and professional knowledge to design a new service model together. Each team must design within 48 hours according to the given topic of the year and deliver a new service design at the last hour. The teams’ final works are uploaded to the creative design network and shared to the world.
The Global Sustainability Jam
Similar to the Global Service Jam, each November creative and passionate people will meet to work in an energetic, global event to address our sustainability challenges. They'll have fun creating brand-new, real-world designs, projects and initiatives to make a difference ... join us!
Everyone is welcome -- service designers, object designers, sustainability experts, professors, business people, teachers, hackers, makers, artists, students, kids, mums and grandpas -- you will form teams and work together for 48 hours to create and prototype new ideas to address real-world problems, and on Sunday, they will publish your results to the world.
