CBi China Bridge serves as juror for the 2012 Sichuan-Taiwan Industrial Design Awards
On December 6th, 2012 the Sichuan-Taiwan Industrial Design Awards (STIDA) Evaluation was held in Chengdu, Sichuan. Cathy Huang, President of CBi China Bridge, was invited to attend as one of the jurors.
The evaluation was conducted by renowned experts, designers and business professionals from home and overseas: Chairman of the Israel Designer Association, David Grossman, Design Director New Business at Philips Design, Andrew Hartman, and Chairman of the Executive Council and Secretary General of Taiwan Industrial Design Association, Guo Jiecheng, were part of the jury panel.
STIDA is held once a year. Its main purpose is to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Sichuan and Taiwan, enhance the level of industrial design for Sichuan and to achieve the vision of “Tianfu Island, Collaborating to Win”. In the same spirit, this year’s theme of the award is “Changing the Future through Design”.
