To better understand the global market of the middle class, Design Continuum, the Boston-based multidisciplinary design consultancy started to do the in-depth and extensive socio-cultural research worldwide in July. CBI was happy to be the research partner in China. Different from the traditional research, CBI tried to locate the interviewee families in the 2nd-tier cities instead of the Super Cities like Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.

This interesting and profound research provides unique insights into the emerging socio-cultural trends that will influence the industry or business as input for the innovation process.
