Meet our New Board of Advisors
CBi China Bridge has appointed a Board of Advisors to support our continued expansion. The six-strong board is drawn from business, academia, investment and media fields. It reflects the firm’s DNA, consisting of entrepreneurs and thought leaders from China, the US and Europe. Each board member possesses expertise in fields that cover the full range of our activities and services, and will, collectively, provide support and guidance on key projects and strategic initiatives.
Bruce Claxton
Professor of Design Management at Savannah College of Art and Design
Outside of his advisory role to CBi China Bridge, Bruce is a fellow and former president of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) - the world’s largest industrial design association. He also works with select clientele to leverage design to foster innovation. Bruce continues to promote design thinking to a wider audience through speaking and teaching engagements. His long-time work as a senior director of design innovation for Motorola Solutions led to the creation of the award-winning industrial design and human factors innovation team, and he has been directly involved in the creation of more than 60 patents for Motorola.

David Yang
Co-Founder of ESSCO Technology and Leadership Training for Executives
David is a seasoned business leader and engineer who draws on 23+ years of experience working with firms such as General Electric and KeyLogic. Currently David combines his role as managing partner of engineering solutions company ESSCO Technology with an associate faculty position at the Center of Creative Leadership (CCL) in China.
Jack Dai
Entrepreneur coach and Angel investor
Jack draws on 25 years of experience as an industrialist and investor, leading business turnarounds and advising startups on strategic planning. Currently, Jack devotes himself to helping conglomerates develop leadership and enhance organizational capacity through his role as an entrepreneur coach, angel investor, vice-director of the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CASME), and MBA Career Mentor of Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU).
